Is Sycamore Township the same as Sycamore schools?
No, and this trips up a lot of buyers. Sycamore Township is a local government. Sycamore Community Schools is a school district that covers Blue Ash, Montgomery and parts of Symmes and Sycamore Townships. Homes in Sycamore Township can be in any of six districts: Sycamore, Deer Park, Indian Hill, Princeton, Reading or Cincinnati Public Schools.
Look up the district for every address with the Hamilton County Auditor, and compare districts on the Ohio School Report Card. I wrote more in Mason vs. Sycamore schools.
Where exactly is Sycamore Township?
In three separate pieces in northeast Hamilton County, left that way by years of annexation. The main ZIP code is 45236, but parts of the township use 45237, 45241, 45242, 45243 and 45249, so a ZIP code alone will not tell you.
